Clista A. Calhoun Center formerly known as Eppworth Hall and previously referred to as the Lyceum.

The Clista A Calhoun Center Front Entrance features Original Arched windows from the Original Covered walkway.  All have been restored during the renovation. The Clista A Calhoun Center features convenient handicap parking and a pull through drive for easy drop-off. The Front Entrance to the Clista A Calhoun Center is 515 Louisiana Street - between Monroe Street and Crosby Street, Mansfield, LA.
The Caterer's Kitchen features extra countertop space and a pass through serving area.

Beautifully modernized with all of the amenities to make your event a success.  The Clista A Calhoun center is the perfect setting for your Meeting, Company Party, Wedding & Reception, Bridal or Baby Shower, Galas, Banquets, Family Reunions, School Homecomings or any occasion that requires a large convenient gathering area.  The Center can accommodate a maximum of 320 guests.  Commercial and Non-Commercial Pricing!  15% Reduction in normal rates for DeSoto Parish Taxpayers for Personal or Family use!

Front and Rear Entrances - with seperate Caterer's entrance into Caterer's Kitchen.  Kitchen comes equipped with Side-by-side Refrigerator and large capacity ice maker.  Lots of Storage!  Kitchen has pass-through window. 

An Elevator provides easy access to the Second floor.  Twin Original Stairways.  Air-Conditioning & Heating.  Drive-up entryway at Front Entrance.  Handicap Parking with  two well-lighted asphalt parking areas.  Land-scaped garden areas.

Caterer's Kitchen with lots of counter space, full sink, side-by-side refrigerator and large capacity ice-maker.  Serving carts, tea urns and coffee urns are also available.

The Original Staircases were preserved during the extensive renovation of the structure.  Extreme attention to detail was carried throughout the renovation/construction..

The upper floor will accomadate a large gathering or audience.  The Original Stage with its magnificant arched doorways on each side of the stage has been restored to it's original elegance.  The stage is equipped with stage lighting and a sound system is available for rent.  The auditorium has comfortable padded seating for your guests comfort.  

The City of Mansfield has several newly constructed (2011) Hotels in close proximity to the Clista A. Calhoun Center. 

The Clista A. Calhoun Center is easily accessible from Hwy. 171, US Hwy. 84 and Interstate 49.

Clista Andrew Calhoun's portraits grace the entryway of the Front Street Foyer. Formerly known as Epworth Hall and referred to as the Lyceum, the Hall was renamed in honor of Clista Andrews Calhoun in 2012.

Original Arched doorways flank each side of the Original Stage. The original Stage has been restored and the original arched doorways were preserved during the Reconstruction/Renovation of the structure.  The original dressing rooms remain on either side of the stage area. Looking out into the auditorium through one of the side arched doorways.  All of the windows throughout the structure are the original windows, they were reworked and rehung.
Comfortable seating for up to 320 guests is available.  Here is a partial view of the auditorium from on stage. The details of the Original stage were restored and all of the arched doorways remain as originally constructed Circa 1900.
